Three Sundays in a row!

Last night the Penguins utilized their Wilkes-Barre Scranton friends to the best of their ability, calling up Chris Connor to take the place of injured Billy Guerin.

Playing on the same line with Crosby, Chris Connor scored 2 of the Pens' four goals and was appropriately awarded number one star for the game!

Playing the Rangers always has its ups, and my favorite of this game was a shoving match between brothers Jordan and Marc Staal. Sean Avery was a little on the quiet side, though.

The game stayed was pretty low scoring in the first two periods, Penguins making it one nothing in the first period, and New York tying it up in the second.

The third period brought a Power Play goal from Evgeni Malkin, who for the time being continues to remain above the water or scoring and the power play deficit. Chris Connor banked his second before Pascal (who's eye received some 36 stitches after that hit from Andy Sutton) shot it in the empty net to seal the game at 4-2.

But the most exciting part of this year so far has been the three in a row NBC games of the week. Yes, it is hard to endure the NBC announcers, and the biased officiating. But it was a sweet sweet victory last Sunday against the Philidelphia Flyers.

This Sunday brings a "Stanley Cup rematch" against the Red Wings at 12:30 on NBC. I wonder when that terninology will stop. It isn't really a rematch, NBC announcers and other such news personnel, unless they play each other in the Stanley Cup again. Face it, we won.

The following Sunday, is against the Capitals. The team I hate more than any other, but love to play! Its one rivalry that you cannot deny.Gotta love it!

Let's go Pens!
